Looking back at 2011, we can say that it was an eventful and buoyant year for the sector and a good year for ELOKON.
We see that the demand for personal safety equipment in Europe is developing very positively and that this safety device is coming to be seen as increasingly important. For this reason, we were able to realize extensive projects in Germany, England and Italy.
ELOKON was able to develop and partly implement a safety concept for the European forklift truck fleet of a major automotive manufacturer. The safety assistants installed comprise the proven ECS access control system with shock sensor technology and the DDS ceiling detector for speed supervision indoors and outdoors.
The launch of the newly developed stationary safety system was a success. With this product, the market now has a type-tested safety device which complies with the latest EU standard regulations. A globally leading automotive coating manufacturer has replaced all existing systems with the new ELOKON SGA 2.0 at its German headquarters.
Even if Europe's economy is experiencing unsettled times, we look optimistically towards 2012. We stand by our promise to continue to be your high-performance and flexible partner for safety technology. A further step in this direction is the creation of the new Machine Safety business area with which we will present ourselves for the first time at the LogiMAT 2012 in Stuttgart.
